Artist in Residence (AiR) Program

The Museum of Friends Artist-in-Residence program, implemented since 2012, offers artists the opportunity to engage with the local community while developing new works. The program is dependent on available funding and has brought both local and visiting artists to Walsenburg, enriching the cultural fabric of the region. Residencies may include site-specific works or exhibitions, contributing to the museum’s mission of fostering community engagement through art.
