About the event
The 2nd Annual Huerfano Maker Convention celebrates local makers, artists, and creatives from across Huerfano County and the surrounding region. This one-day event showcases talent, fosters collaboration, and connects participants to Southern Colorado’s growing creative network.
With a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), the Maker Convention highlights the power of creativity and innovation to drive both community connection and regional economic development.
The event is a collaborative effort led by community partners including the Museum of Friends, Spanish Peaks Library District, Wheelhouse Makerspace, Fox Theatre, and Huerfano Arts and Leadership Connection (HALC).
