The Museum of Friends, recognized by Art in America as the first counterculture museum in the U.S., began upstairs in the historic Roof & Dick Building. Its Foundation Gallery, born from 600 works exchanged among friends, remains the heart of MoF, preserving the spirit of generosity, community, and creative experimentation.
