About the event
The Día de los Muertos Altar in the Made in Walsenburg Gift Shop store window is a tribute to remembrance, honoring the lives of loved ones who have passed. This community altar will be adorned with traditional marigolds, candles, photographs, offerings (ofrendas), and symbolic artwork, creating a space for reflection, celebration, and cultural connection.
Visitors are encouraged to contribute to the altar by bringing photos, small mementos, or written messages in remembrance of their loved ones. Through this shared tradition, we celebrate life, memory, and the enduring presence of those who came before us.
Join us in honoring this beautiful tradition, embracing the spirit of Día de los Muertos, and reflecting on the stories that continue to shape our community.
